Music Studies at The Conservatoire National de Region de Strasbourg
Engineering at Institut National des Sciences Appliquees (INSA) Studies Offered at the University of Strasbourg - UMB and URS (Option III)
Programs of Study offered at the Universities of Strasbourg: Université March Bloch (UMB) and Université Robert Schuman (URS). Placement at the French University is open to students who demonstrate French language proficiency (i.e., 3 years of college-level French).
The Université March Bloch houses the departments of humanities and some of the social sciences. The Université Robert Schuman houses most of the social sciences as well as the law school, the IEP (l'Insititut d'Etudes Politiques), and the IECS (the school of business and management). Students in Option III begin with the same "stage" as the students in Option II. Then, working together with M. Marxer, the Assistant Director of the Syracuse Center in Strasbourg, students design a program of study based on their interests and the course offerings of the French University. Students may also sign up for advanced French language courses at the IECS. The first semester runs from October through December; the second from February through June.
