Overview
Option I is for you if you wish to take all of your courses at Syracuse University's Center in Madrid. This option offers intensive Spanish language classes at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as a broad selection of course offerings taught in Spanish and in English. There is no language pre-requisite.

Introductory Field Studies Seminars (Required)
All students are required to register for one of our two-credit introductory field studies seminars, offered at the beginning of the semester. You can choose from Azahar, Eurovision and Mare Nostrum. For details, see Pre-Semester Seminars. These courses must be taken for credit; they cannot be taken on an audit basis. *Students participating for a full year are not required to take a field studies seminar during the spring semester.
